Gasclam.co.uk is the source of information about Gasclam and developments in best practice in gas monitoring

Gasclam is a gas monitor that fits inside a standard 50mm borehole; it is environmentally sealed and intrinsically safe.

Gasclam's ease of deployment and security of operation allows data of high temporal resolution to be widely available for the first time for use in ground gas risk prediction.

This new capability in data collection fundamentally changes the optimal design of gas monitoring programmes and in light of this the DTI have funded a two year programme to develop new best practice:

Improved Risk Prediction through In-borehole Gas Monitoring (IRP-IGM).
